Polytechnic Community,
At FADCOM, we offer you the opportunity to carry out your academic projects in a modern environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
We have laboratories and workshops so you can put your knowledge and skills into practice. Your professor will inform you about the availability of time and will help you to make the scheduling process of the laboratory or workshop.


The computer labs are equipped with computers and specialized software that provide students with the opportunity to develop practical and applied computer skills.

LAB102 and library laboratories are open to students for academic practices from 08h00 to 16h00.

In the photography laboratory we study the techniques of image registration and the language of body narrative.

Located in LAB 201, it is optimized for audio recordings, for student projects, institutional voice-overs, dubbing, folleys, etc. It has professional acoustic isolation and can achieve clean recordings without external noise. It is composed of three spaces, a master control, an instrument room and a voice room.

FADCOM's Audiovisual Lab is where students come to record projects, presentations, interviews and other audiovisual content. It is also used by professors who teach production and post-production subjects in the career. This laboratory contains a closed-circuit television studio that consists of a master control, the post-production room and the set.

In this area, the practical component of woodworking is taught, from the safe handling of tools to the construction of creative projects of personalized designs through the use of hand tools, stationary machines and CNC technology.

Prototype manufacturing is performed, obtaining a physical object from a 3D printed digital design.

In this space, finishing works are carried out using painting techniques such as oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed techniques.

A complete introduction to the art of ceramics is studied, covering everything from clay preparation to modeling, shaping and decorating techniques.

Using CO2 laser technology, engraving or cutting operations are performed on materials such as: wood, abs, acrylic, leather, among others. Which are used to create models and other quick assembly products.

This is a space where theoretical and practical methodologies are studied, developing skills necessary for learning and correct use of the airbrush tool in the development of visual projects.

In the Airbrush Workshop students learn the fundamental techniques of airbrushing, where they develop the basic skills and abilities of freehand drawing using an airbrush.

The Motion Lab workshop is a creative space where students have the opportunity to learn and experiment through the stop motion technique, exploring the basics of the stop motion technique, which consists of creating movement through a series of still images. By planning and designing their own stories using storyboarding and storyboarding techniques, finalizing the production of the animation, using different materials and objects to create characters and scenarios.
