The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication organized the third edition of the ArteMalo contest. On this occasion, more than 350 works of art from polytechnic students participated.
The contest seeks to recognize the lack of talent by rewarding the worst works of art, consolidating the active participation of the polytechnic community in the artistic field.
Josue Coox wins the "Huevo de Oro" and first place in "Los Malos", Jonathan Arteaga takes second place.
In the "Salón de los Rechazados", Madeline Escobar and Alejandra Zurita won first and second place, respectively.
Mateo Montalvo receives the "Salón de Xuxa" award, and Jonathan Fierro the "Danica Uscocovich Award".
ArteMalo celebrates originality and creativity without judgment. This competition challenges artistic conventions by recognizing the beauty in the lack of mastery, showing that there is beauty in bad art too!
