Forgiveness is a decision. With this idea, Fausto Jácome, director of the School of Design and Visual Communication (Edcom) initiated the first posada at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (Espol).
Teachers and students collaborated with the organization and development of the event. At Edcom, the students of Corporal Expression reproduced a nativity scene and the music and sound club, Anifonix, entertained the audience with Christmas carols and medleys.
“You are our artists, our creatives and we are very happy with what is being done today," congratulated Cecilia Paredes, academic vice rector of Espol.
This year the theme of values was implemented. Each academic unit at the Gustavo Galindo campus will reproduce the activity with a different value. Forgiveness, loyalty, solidarity, humility and honesty are the themes for the posadas during this week.
The institution's rector's office will be the place where, with the theme of generosity, the last posada will be held on December 24.
