A new edition of the Poster Competition was held, an event developed as the final project for the Applied Research in Design course in the Graphic Design program at FADCOM.

Dean Nayeth Solórzano, Ph.D., who teaches the Applied Research in Design course, opened the event with a few words of welcome. M.Sc. Carlos González, Deputy Dean of FADCOM, welcomed the students and guests M.Sc. Elizabeth Elizalde, and M.Sc. Aleyda Quintero.

M.Sc. Luis Rodríguez was in charge of evaluating the presentations, which focused on analyzing topics such as art and climate action, tools for labor inclusion, improving everyday environments, graphic design in the production of educational game apps, and educational inclusion through music and digital art.

M.Sc. Elizabeth Elizalde shared her experience with the outreach project La Pizarra Audiovisual and the use of MIDI mobile applications. Meanwhile, M.Sc. Aleyda Quintero gave a presentation on interdisciplinarity in institutional outreach programs.

After listening to the presentations and completing the evaluation process, the winning group was announced. Angie Choez, Rosa Cortaza, Kathya Rodriguez, Jeremy Vizueta, and Génesis Zambrano developed their research on the implementation of art in early childhood education: basic concepts of climate change.

Through this project, the winners concluded that graphic materials enhance young children's understanding of environmental issues.

We congratulate all the participants and wish the winning group success in their future projects.
