Karla Caicedo, coordinator of the Product Design career and teacher at FADCOM, was elected vice president of the Association of Robotics Educators of Ecuador.
The group was formed this year and has robotics teachers from more than 15 schools in the city of Guayaquil as members. Sensor, as the group is called, was formed from an event held in conjunction with the company Fabtech at the American School of Guayaquil.
Caicedo has conducted several lectures and workshops with his company Fabtech, dedicated to providing courses, workshops, educational experiences that combine areas of robotics, programming, art, and design, based on the Maker culture -learning by creating-, using traditional and technological tools. This company works with children and young people, and also provides training to educators and creates educational content for schools.
