Ángel Bayona, a student of the Media Production program at FADCOM, was awarded first place in the Flora and Fauna category of the "Defenders of Nature" contest, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition (MAATE) and held as part of the Third National Congress of Protected Areas.
His photograph titled "Elegance in the Twilight: Trogon at Sunset" highlights the beauty of the Ecuadorian Trogon (Trogon mesurus), a bird that inhabits the Santay and Gallo Island National Recreation Area, where Ángel works as a park ranger. There, he explores nature, capturing the essence of flora and fauna through his photographic art.
