Carlos Urquizo, director of the music video "Quédate Conmigo", earned third place in the "Guayaquil en Corto" competition, organized by Fundación Malecón 2000 and Cinema Malecón.
The competition took place on August 30, 2023, at the Cinema Malecón screening room and featured productions from students in communication, marketing, visual arts, performing arts, and related fields from various universities and higher education institutions.
Carlos Urquizo's music video received a score of 74.5, ranking as the third highest among the participating entries. Representatives from Fundación Malecón 2000 celebrated this achievement and congratulated the participants for their initiative during the competition.
It is noteworthy that this music video also won the 2022 repertory organized by ESPOL Cultural. This accomplishment reflects the high quality of audiovisual productions created by our students.
