The Magic of Christmas Comes to FADCOM

The Faculty of Arts, Design, and Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL celebrates the holiday season with decorations inspired by the theme, "The Magic of Christmas Has Arrived at FADCOM." This year's display features a nativity scene surrounded by white houses and a forest filled with rabbits and birds, symbolizing peace, life, and unity.

The Christmas installation was crafted using the papercraft technique with sustainable materials such as hand-painted cardboard and cardstock. Each element was meticulously designed and assembled to create a warm and festive atmosphere that encourages reflection on the values of Christmas. This initiative is the result of collaborative work by students from the Design Workshop I course, led by professor Da Hee Park Kim, alongside students from various programs such as Graphic Design and Product Design.

The goal is to promote teamwork, creativity, and the use of handcrafted techniques that highlight the importance of design in creating spaces that convey emotions and positive messages during such special times.

The decoration will be on display throughout December 2024, during which we invite the entire university community and the general public to visit and enjoy this space filled with creativity and holiday spirit.
