The act of asking and waiting is the axis of the story with which Alejandro Ocaña, professor at EDCOM, won first place in the short story contest organized by the Universidad Simón Bolívar. The story told by the professor takes place in the midst of the desire to gather material belongings, but also the desire to wait for them and not work to get them.
In this way, the Equeco becomes another important symbol in the play. This character is the Andean god of abundance. In Ocaña's comic strip, the Equeco is loaded with televisions, balls and countless other items that his devotees yearn for. Ocaña says that among his plans is to continue participating in contests such as the one organized by the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. But he emphasizes that another of his goals is that his students also participate in events where the high quality of their work is recognized.
