SHAPES 2023 brought together professionals and design enthusiasts to explore the latest trends and innovative solutions in this exciting industry. 

Estefanía Yánez Schmidt, founder of the company "Áurea," shared her experience in interior design, imparting her knowledge and showcasing creative solutions that are influencing how we conceive spaces. Roberto Miranda, director of PlanBelow, provided an essential technological perspective to the symposium. 

He demonstrated how technology is revolutionizing product design to enhance user experience, presenting innovative and creative solutions that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. Larissa Marangoni, with her artistic and cultural approach, illuminated the event with her sculptural projects implemented in both public and private spaces. Her inspiring work highlights the importance of art in creating meaningful experiences in product design.

Diego Tapia presented the project "Leyendas de Barro," a sculpture created by students of the Product Design Bachelor's program, which pays tribute to the legacy of the potters of Samborondón. 

The symposium included the presentation of three student projects that explore new perspectives in bus stop design, demonstrating that creativity and innovation know no bounds. 

Da Hee Park, the event coordinator, delivered closing remarks, expressing her gratitude to all the guests and speakers for contributing to the success of this symposium, which has served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of product design.

SHAPES 2023 offered an inspiring vision of what is to come in this exciting industry. We thank all participants for their contributions and look forward to continuing to explore the frontiers of design together.
