In the afternoon, a discussion was held in the FADCOM auditorium, where professor Billy Soto conversed with the artist and explored how art can evolve into marketable products while maintaining an aesthetic style. This dialogue provided attendees with a deeper understanding of art as a multifaceted discipline relevant to contemporary society. "La Bella Figurina" is an exhibition that explores the transition from utopias to retrotopias, using a combination of techniques and visual elements that reflect the artist's visions of these concepts.

Through her work, Mariella García Caputi invites viewers to question and explore these themes, using her art as a medium for dialogue and introspection. The exhibition is on display at the ESPOL Library Information Center and will be open to the public throughout August, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This will allow visitors to explore the presented works and gain a deeper understanding of Mariella García Caputi’s artistic vision.
