The IDEAR, Create, and Design Fair showcased nearly 400 integrative projects aimed at solving real-world societal problems. The event welcomed professionals in the field and the graduates' families, who gathered at the exhibition held at ESPOL's Gustavo Galindo campus on Thursday, September 6.
The Production for Media program presented 14 audiovisual projects, with documentaries and short films leading the showcase. The audiovisual works covered topics intended to highlight the country's beauty and address social issues such as street harassment of women, among others.
Omar Rodríguez, a faculty advisor for the integrative course, emphasized that the students' work demonstrates the potential of the polytechnic students, who produced projects of high professional quality.
The exhibition featured four projects from students in the Web Design and Multimedia Applications program, who developed applications designed to streamline digital processes in both public and private enterprises.
The Graphic Design program displayed 20 projects, many of which were child-focused, such as the project by Rossalyn Blum and Edwin Novillo, who developed interactive materials for language reinforcement for children with Asperger's syndrome.
