On September 27th, EDCOM faculty member Ariana del Pino presented her doctoral thesis titled Academic e-Branding Applied to Higher Education at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as part of the Doctoral Program in Art: Production and Research.
The evaluation of the topic was outstanding, earning her a CUM LAUDE (WITH HONORS) due to the innovative nature of the proposed topic, resulting in the award of a Doctorate in Art.
The dissertation committee was composed of José Rodríguez from the University of Murcia as the president, Margarita Cabrera from the Polytechnic University of Valencia as the secretary, and Gerson Beltrán from the University of Valencia Estudi General as the examiner.
Professor Del Pino noted that the topic has allowed the development of a model aimed at increasing the global visibility of universities by leveraging all the resources of academic digital branding, including faculty, students, research, and the community.
