Ph.D. Nayeth Solórzano, a tenured professor at EDCOM, participated in the 9th International Conference on Information Technology and Multimedia held at Kalbis Institute, Jakarta, Indonesia, from December 5 to 7, 2017. Solórzano delivered a presentation following the rigorous review process of her article, which was accepted for publication and subsequent presentation at the conference.
The professor's presentation focused on understanding the subjective aspects of using human-computer interface systems for governance, titled "Information Systems: A Reflective Analysis." The 9th International Conference on Information Technology and Multimedia featured keynote speeches, peer-reviewed presentations, and an academic visit. This conference provided opportunities for delegates to exchange new ideas and practical experiences face-to-face, establish business or research initiatives, and find global partners for future collaborations.
The professor emphasized that this was an excellent opportunity to forge alliances beneficial to the institution. The conference proceedings are included as part of the International Conference on Informatics and Artificial Intelligence and are published by ACM (Association for Computing Machinery).
