On November 9th, FADCOM faculty member Ariana del Pino, in collaboration with several faculty members from the department and in coordination with various research professors from the Americas and Europe, presented the publication of the book Improving University Reputation Through Academic Digital Branding. This critical academic publication explores digital branding and its role in establishing the reputation of institutions and academic programs.

Dr. Del Pino noted that the work process took about two years. During the first year, several drafts of the book's main topic were reviewed with the publisher; after approval, the call for papers was issued in September-October 2019. During this time, the call was announced to authors from various locations, universities, and countries. Co-author Nuria Lloret, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), reached out to some contacts at her institution who might be interested in participating.

Del Pino invited several FADCOM faculty members to contribute, including Fausto Jácome, Nayeth Solorzano, Ariana García, Freddy Veloz, Diego Carrera, Elizabeth Elizalde, and Da Hee Park. The contributions from these faculty members are reflected in the different chapters of the book, which totals 340 pages. The publication is currently in the process of being indexed in Scopus.
