Between the young people occupying the auditorium and the man speaking to them from the high stage, there is not much difference. His carefree look, glasses and a Darth Vader print on the front of his T-shirt might make Javier Perez, aka Cinta Scotch, just another one of the polytechnic community.
But there is something that makes him stand out there and be the center of attention. Javier graduated as a graphic designer from the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral in 2013. Since then, his curiosity and creative will led him to engage in visual experiments that fuse the simplicity of drawing with common elements.
However, the work was not finished if it was not known and the solution was the Internet. Since then, social networks became the ideal platform for this Guayaquil native to show his creations.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Behance are the social networks that have seen the unstoppable rise to fame of Javier's visual products. Through them he has gained followers, imitators, contracts and recognition. Among his achievements is being published by international magazines and newspapers such as National Geographic, Bonsai (Argentina), Carta Capital (Brazil), among others.
