Students from the Bachelor’s in Web Design and Multimedia Applications at EDCOM and the Bachelor’s in Information Systems at FIEC attended XConf. The event was a series of conferences aimed at technology enthusiasts seeking inspiration and the opportunity to connect with their peers.
The conference cycle took place on September 30th in Quito. Students from the Bachelor’s in Web Design and Multimedia Applications at EDCOM and the Bachelor’s in Information Systems at FIEC attended the event. They had the opportunity to witness keynotes and talks showcasing the latest ideas from ThoughtWorkers and their partners. The polytechnic students were accompanied by several faculty members, including Master Diego Carrera and Master Lisenia Sornoza.
Some of the topics covered during the conferences and keynotes included Platforms: The New Drivers of Innovation, Conversational Interfaces, and Simulating for Integration, among others.
The event featured a keynote by Martin Fowler, one of the creators of the Agile Manifesto. Fowler is a renowned author, software consultant, and speaker with 20 years of experience helping corporations meet their critical requirements using technology.
